All my other previous work on guitars was one heavy modification on a Yamaha Pacifica 112V witch i changed all the electronics, pickups and the scratch plate, control cavity plate and input jack, with all that changes it feels a totally different guitar, or my 2 guitar assembles from parts picked up from different places.
This one is a different project.

1 piece mahogany Khaya blank, this is a very flat piece. It has to be 1 piece since i don't have the tools and skills at the moment for a perfect joint 2 piece.
I got 2 very long blades for my hand jigsaw tool, they larger than the wood to cut. Unfortunately the capacity off power tools to cut this length off wood was not good, so i used a Z-Saw Kataba for crosscut, diagonal cut and ripcut.

Using the hand saw is hard and you need to cut in straight lines, i did use the jigsaw to round some sections, one off the horns still has to much wood, but taking it to the final shape and dimensions will be done with router and the template.
I will have to make a new template, this one is based on standard stratocaster layout, my plan is 2 humbuckers pickups wood mounted, no scratch plate, control cavity on the back, input jack on the side, hard-tail string trough body Hip-shot bridge.
