Control Cavity - taking it slowly
My plan was to make a template for the inner section off the control cavity, drill the majority and use the router to finalize it.
I made 2 shallow holes with big the Drill stand and it was not very easy, the neck pocket and pickup cavities are smaller but i had to always pay attention to the drill to get to hot and get dull or burn.
The template did not come out perfect and i realized that it was hard to align it, i would have to make a template with part off the body shape also to make the alignment easy, and there the possibility that wood splits in parts, routing in normal section this can happen, in an area that there's less wood is more likely to occur.

I started to take small amounts with a gouge, than changed to chisel. It's a slow method but after a while i draw an outline and decided to make the majority off this work without the drill and router. I will rout the bottom off the cavity to get a flat surface and maybe to give edges a consistent shape.
I need to remove around 6 mm off wood than level it, the input jack hole is already drilled.
I already cut a control cavity plate.
