A small update but lots off sanding hours done, and probably still a lot more to do. The back section off the guitar especially on the belly cut had marks across the majority off the body, i thought this was just surface but turns out they go very deeply in the wood, these probably also cracks when the wood was growing or the body was not yet properly dried, basically this wood is not the highest quality one in terms off aspect.
I really went deep in the wood but usually when i manged to fade away section that has nasty aspect it just appears a bit more later on the sanding, i have use an orbital sander 2 times in this process removing a large amount off the wood, that's why is thinner and as a result a tremolo cover will not fit since the body is now extremely carved. Orbital sander, scrappers, rasps, chisels, 50 to 1000 sanding paper, and steel wool has all been used.
It is more faded in some sections but other sections then show up with marks.
The wood in the tremolo section was breaking when i received the body, i glue it back and sanded and reshaped that section.
I drilled the holes to pass the cable from the neck pickup, i ordered long drills but i did not take in account the neck pocket so the drills where to short and the drill chuck from my home made hand drill made a small depression on the neck pocket.
I had to get some aluminum tube to extend the drill, initially i just used supper glue to hold it in place, but since the initial drilled hole was not proper done due to the chuck hitting the bottom off the neck pocket i had to force it a bit and supper glue did not hold it. Later on i got a 2 part Glue for metal to complete the job.
I got a large tube for use in a large standard drill, sadly the one size available is a bit to large and it did not hold so i had to enlarge the hole using the smaller one and a rasp, the cable can no pass without major problems.
I gathered some off the wood dust from sanding the body and mixed with wood glue to make a filler.

And apply it in the neck pocket.
Sanded off any excess.
Masked off the areas on the top off the pickup cavities.

Electric conductive paint.
Some sections will need a bit more paint.
This bodies are only Stratocaster looking.

I will probably not go for a Wilkinson bridge i have a standard tremolo in gold finish that i planned on on using an other project, but since i started this one the bridge is available it fits perfectly in there, so gold hardware it is. I just wonder how the wudtone finish will be on this body, on the Swamp ash body some off the imperfections went away with the finish will others became visible. Still need for them to ship it... and hope that rainy days go away.
